nice photos.. for a beginner muhahah.. :P jokes, no seriously, cool photos, you seem to have a nice lens, better than my standard one ((>_<))
somethings i would really recommend:
1) get a tripod, very useful for night shots.
2) get a remote, useful for night shots (so you don't have to shake the camera when pressing the button for a long shutter photo). I have this remote, really useful.
3) Try stitching panoramic photos, that's something cool and you learn a lot from it.

Yeah the night shots in Korcula ended up being a bit dud.
Although we were going drinking after and I didn't really wanna lug a tripod around :D
Also a bit of a shame that you couldn't use tripods in a lot of churches / temples in Rome.
Awesome shots, Ian! Tho tat shot of that guy bending down is a bit tad dodgy... haha!
yeah i might wanna leave my footprints in croatia too hey! XD
